Above are my starting seeds for basil, jalepeños, two kinds of tomatoes, green peppers, lettuce, spinach, and poblano peppers.
I decided to try more with flowers this year - and I cannot help but repurpose stuff. This clementine box was about to get tossed, so I put rocks on the bottom and filled it up with soil and compost, then added flower seeds! Bachelor buttons, marigolds (good for pest repellant), and multlicolored cosmos. I have never been particularly successful with flowers, but I am committed to being persistent with them.
